  • Hold office hours to assist 35 students with course concepts for Intermediate Microeconomics using Varian’s textbook

Research Assistant, Jun 2023 - present

  • Awarded University grant funding to conduct summer research; funding extended through academic year
  • Create a repository of over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles to inform and inspire current and future work
  • Use Stata to wrangle, clean, and merge datasets with over 100 variables and as many as 1.2 million observations
  • Use a PPML gravity model to estimate the connection between interpersonal violence and international trade
  • Presented findings to W&L’s Summer Research Scholars Session in Oct 2023; attending MWIEG conference in Oct 2024

  • Assist 30 students per semester with economics research, data wrangling, and course concepts
  • Developed 1 new assignment and 1 new Stata lab, and revised 2 existing assignments based on student feedback

Assistant Pennsylvania State Chair, Sep 2023 - Feb 2024

  • Collect insights from Pennsylvania politicians and experts to assist in researching state political climate
  • Work toward predicting the outcome of the 2024 Republican primary and organizing the 2024 Mock Con
  • Mock Con is the nation’s most accurate mock nominating convention with a 74% accuracy rate since 1908
